First time I went one of the guys says/asks “first time? Have some of that coffee, it’ll calm the nerves.” Was he right! Lol. It got easier the more I realized where I was. And how comfortable it truly was. Congrats on your sober journey!

Team #2 for me. I love underdogs/losers. Granted they are finally getting better! Theres always the browns… Na I cant root for them for some reason lol. Maybe cause on paper the past few years they’ve had the best team. But cant do anything with it

Its been a long time coming. Barring the first Gruden tenure, and flukey 2016, we’ve been so bad for like 30 years. I get excited every year though, and always get my hopes too high after a good win, but these guys look good.
My favorite thing is our TE, Darren Waller. Addicted to drugs and alcohol, drafted and cut by Baltimore…got sober, signed with the Raiders, and now could be considered a top-3 TE in the NFL. Very humble in his interviews. Like 6’6" and 250lb, what a monster out there.

Thank you! It gets better every day I go! I love the smell of coffee in there. I love the people, the stories, the fellowship, the understanding of fellow people like me, the readings, the teachings, the entire thing! Thank you for sharing this with me. It gives me hope and inspiration!

It really does! There was one smallish downhill but I still had to make an effort to get forward.
