Yes. Waking up sober, rested, and ready to smash the day, instead of going to bed smashed, is one of the best and simplest benefits of sobriety. Simple, yet foundational. Keep getting better at getting better, each and every day. Better today than you were yesterday, and tomorrow better still. All you must do is stay sober today, setting the stage for a better tomorrow.
Oh heās so beautiful. He looks like our Joe from our last batch of kittens.
I use to get hangovers almost every single morning. But still kept drinking. Itās not my most important reason for not drinking. But it feels so good not waking up to a hangover every morning for over a year now.
And by the way. 61 days looks fabulous on you.
Youāre so worth it.
Looking great Charlie!
Happy 108
I used to always say I didnāt get hungover well now I know thats because I was in a constant state of being hungover/drunk. It was just a way of life and I never realized how bad I felt until I stopped. Congrats on over a year thats amazing!!!
And enjoying sun and warmth!!
Once when I was required to do regular breath tests, I failed one morning with a 05 BAC, where 08 is the limit for DUI. And thatās the way I normally felt. It didnāt strike me until much later that I had alcohol on board 24/7.
Congrats man
Congrats girl! You look great
Way to go on your 60 days Ryan. Thatās great!!
Ok so I watched a tiktok that made me think of you. It wonāt let me share? Iāll send it to u
Looking good @Harold
We all clean up pretty nicely around here when weāre sober . I wonder why
Thanks I designed it!!
Hi everyone just thought Iād show you this because Iāve been feeling down lately. Some of you know that Iām awaiting a full knee replacement so Iām not active at all. The fishing photo was taken at the end of August last year. Iād had about 10 cans of stella round about the time that was taken about 4 in the afternoon. Just a normal day for me.
Anyway Iāve been down because Iāve felt like Iām not getting anywhere. Iāve been alcohol free for just over 4 months now. So when I look at this photo now the change is unbelievable, well it is for me anyway. Itās made me feel like Iāve achieved something and feel so proud. Sorry if Iām boaring you but I look like Iām ready to have a heart attack in that other photo.
Being on here has been a massive bonus thank you xxx mickymo.
You look at least 10 years younger. Fantastic progress! Hang in there - it seems like everything is on hold, but youāre staying sober each day and thatās always progress, too!
waitā¦ did you take a screenshot of your screenshot?
Well done on 60 days Ryan!
Wow, Micky! Youāre aging backwards.
Harold, you have the friendliest face ever!
