It’s like you’re telling my story! Same for me, initial discomfort from side effects, then at about 3-4 weeks I really noticed feeling lighter, and like I had put my glasses on and could really see clearly, sort of like I was “on” and alert again. I can’t remember when I felt that way last. I also had tried antidepressants briefly a decade ago and was drinking heavily and ended up just stopping them. I really see the medication as providing a platform from which to continue efforts at self-improvement, and that those efforts will go further than before with that little boost. Fingers crossed for us both!

Unfortunately I’ve taken a step backwards today. Just not feeling good about anything. Days like this when things are quiet leave a lot of space to be aware of how empty and lonely things feel for me, and its hard to reason away the anger I feel towards myself for what happened. Days like this I just can’t fight off the sadness.
Progess is rarely linear so I guess days like today are to be expected. It doesn’t make them much easier. Hoping for a better day tomorrow because today hurts.

Definitely going to bed even earlier than usual tonight, for sure.
“Lone Star Law” is on throughout the evening, guilty pleasure/comfort show, so that’s a plus. I like seeing all the different wildlife they have.
