Hello everyone,
Sober Time iOS has recently received a major update (Android on its way!). A small amount of users are experiencing a display bug where their data isn’t shown and it looks like it has been wiped.
This has been resolved in a new update that is currently awaiting Apple’s approval. It should be available everywhere in the next few hours.
Rest assured that this is only a display bug and that the data is still on your device. If you’re one of the users experiencing this issue:
- DO NOT uninstall or reinstall the Sober Time. This will cause iOS to clear all of the app’s data and there’s nothing that can be done about this.
- Do not add any new addictions, this will create a new set of data.
- Wait for your Sober Time to update to 4.0.11 (or get it from the App Store when available)
- Your data should automatically be restored after you open the app.
- If your data is not restored, probably because you’ve added more addictions while waiting, go to Menu > Settings > Diagnostics. Tap the legacy backup restore button.
