Hi Miguel On day 4 of my Recovery. Feeling good. I work in a very stressful job and my addiction done a good job of distracting me from it. Now itā€™s just me.
I like what Iā€™m feeling for the last few days SANITY HOPE YOU ARE WELL

Hello , may I advice one thing. Use the restriction feature in your iOS device. Open settings > general> restriction. Now close your eyes and put a password and then in the website section select ā€˜limit adult contentā€™. Then you just canā€™t access it via any of your iOS devices.

Hi, I started masterbated when I was 9 and found porn when I was 11. Itā€™s destroying what little sex life me and my spouse have.

Tried already. No blocker on my phone Samsung s4 mini. And all as Iā€™ve found there is is ways around them such as searching on Google. Funny. This is harder to quit than smoking and drinking was lol.

Starting day 1 again, not proud but making progress! :slight_smile: made it to day 14 today, thatā€™s almost half way to a month!

There is a way to it. Donā€™t know about android device but in iPhone once you block it you canā€™t even google it.
Few more things I am using (I hope you will find them helpful)

  1. changed my wifi plan to 5gb. That is after 5gb the connection is terminated for the rest of the billing month. So now I use my internet judiciously. So it acts as a deterrent to opening porn sites. (Same done on my 4g plan on phone)
  2. currently I have deactivated all my social media accounts as seeing pictures there would redirect me to pleasure myself. So that trigger is off.
  3. whenever I feel the urge , I just try to remember the time I have invested in being clean. So I think do I really want to waste all those days of sobriety.
  4. even if I do have to masturbate (as currently I am just detoxing off porn not masturabation per se) I masturbate with just my imagination. So it gets hard to masturabte.

I use diary and write what i feel everyday , it helps me to keep going , when i feel pressure i write what i feel in my diary , that keeps me away from opening porn sites , also reading it make me feel i can quit this addiction :slight_smile: i hope that will work with you

Wow day 13! Double digits baby :laughing: And I have only master bated 3x which is absolutely amazing for me!!! Iā€™ve been keeping myself busy with my building my business, reading, writing, and playing video games. It seems whenever Iā€™m not doing something with my hands just get urges to masterbate, so I eliminated it! And I use my phone for porn so I just keep it unplugged and almost dead all day so I canā€™t watch it! My computer is too slow so thatā€™s not an available option yeaaah!

Huge milestone today in two areas. I did give in today, but I reached day 35 which is the longest Iā€™ve gone!! And I just Googled images rather than watching videos as I knew it would be hard to start again after videos. Never done that before

im addicted too :cry: im 23 and been masterbating since i was a kid. dont know how to quit it, iā€™ve been trying for the past year. managed to do it much less than before but still cant quit it. hope you guys can help me in this matter

Good luck man, Iā€™m 24 and Iā€™m addicted to women, chat rooms and porn, masturbation. Iā€™m on day four but Iā€™ve started over many times reading on this app seems to help and alot of good info on here!

itā€™s so hard acctually. I just keep doing it for no reason. my longest run was 15 days I think. is there a harmless medicine or something to keep me away from being horny?

Self control is the only thing you can do, distract yourself when urges hit and take it day by day. Iā€™ve relapsed a bunch. Donā€™t get me wrong itā€™s extremely hard but writing it out makes it so much more simple
