Everyone is going to an eclipse party at a bar after work…I’m going to my backyard to watch it with my kids sober. Hoping half the sun being covered will cool things down enough to get some yardwork done lol.

Yesterday was 24 days clear for me, and I took my daughter on the motorcycle, and we rode up into the path of totality. If you’ve never seen it, it’s transcendent. Completely indescribable. No words nor photos can do it justice.

Interesting without connecting the two I began my journey to a new mind, body, and life yesterday as well august 21, 2017. A day to remember. Hopefully next year I can travel to Asia and view the eclipse there and celebrate sobriety.
