Lately Used to be Young by Miley Cyrus is resonating a lot. Simple lyrics but they hit hard, and can easily apply to our journeys.

Loving and Free by Kiki Dee. Um yeah, I’m old….
I used to listen to Hurt by NIN over and over and just cry. This was in high school in the very beginnings of my addiction. And, ya know, teenage angst, lol.
The song I found that most defines what I am is “Too Much is Never Enough” by Bob Moses.
Helped get me through my first cold turkey that song along with various Dylan ones.
Led Zepplin hey hey what can I do.
I traded iit in for When we all get to heaven.
“Before they make me run” off of The Rolling Stones 1978 “Some Girls” album
“Overkill” by Men at Work. Lyrics describe anxiety, overthinking, can’t get to sleep because of “worrying over situations I KNOW will be alright”. Describes me to a tee.
I used to feel defined by “You Know I’m No Good” by Amy Winehouse, and the whole Back to Black album really. I was depressed, thought of myself as a bad person, and related to her relationship with alcohol.
Now I think Venus Fly Trap by Marina is my anthem.
For a long time it was both “Down in a hole” and “Nutshell” by Alice in Chains
She by Jelly Roll is the song that used to define me, now it’s Not Afraid by Eminem.
