Spring - Buds, Blossoms and New Beginnings

I loved the winter pictures you all shared so wanted a Spring Topic started.
Apple Tree is budding

Peach Tree has blossoms already

This is an ancient almond. I think I have seen only 1 almond on it since living here but it always blooms to shout I am still alive

Beautiful!
Almonds are self sterile, they need another almond tree for pollination. Plant a second tree and you will see what happens

We have lots of almond trees around. This one is probably 80 years old. Birds get to any early almonds. Sure is pretty in bloom.

Still winter here, but there’s a big rise in temperature expected by the end of the week. So I expect an explosion of colour in a couple of weeks. For now the snowdrops are nice too.

Thanks for the spring photos. We’ll have snow for weeks. Luckily I’m not bored with winter yet and actually enjoyed the pretty snowing today.

What @Mno says is winter there would be considered spring here.

Nectarine and peach trees. Old but still produce great fruit. Major trim job last year and will see if fruit is a bit bigger this year.

Yes jam and lots of peach and nectarine pies. 1st year sober I fared rather well. This year I am ready for the harvest. Amazing what one can do when not spending all your days drunk and depressed in bed. Thanks for being here with me.
