Initially when I quit drinking, I had admitted my addiction and knew I had no control over it. I started AA at 2 months sober and figured I had that step down pat. I relapsed.

This time I remind myself every day of that notion. I am powerless over alcohol. My life, for certain, will become unmanageable if I take just one drink. I’ve been around this block too many times and I’m sick of falling into the same pothole. I choose to walk down a different street.

I believe this is the most important step to practice. Keep coming back friend
