Hi Smootie !! I know your original post is getting older now, so I’m curious how you are doing? I hit 170 days yesterday and damnit I didn’t get that parade I felt entitled to either 
i had to sit in my pity and think about gratitude. I remembered the days when I was so broken mentally, physically, and spiritually. I prayed to a higher power of my misunderstanding with HOPE that I could make it 24hours. Now I’m a free-range human with temptations everywhere. I asked for help to stay away from a drink for 1day. My significant other is in the program going on 7 years of sobriety. I’m tempted to conveniently forget her sober anniversary out of pure spite 
. I’m kidding, but as a good alcoholic, I would prefer everything and everyone revolve around me LOL I’m still sick but getting better. I pray you are as well. Thanks for the reminder
