I heard that sentence from someone who knew me and my wife and wasn’t biased so I knew when I went to her for help with my wife was cheating and I to me and making me seem like the crazy one and I just wanted to know why…she basically said that sentence and it changed my life…I went to rehab next day and have been sober every since 9-5-2024…she is an angel was sent to save my life and that she did cuz I was being totally self destructive

When I was in active addiction I was a terribly dishonest person. That does not mean that I would be that way forever. A key component of my sobriety has been working on my honesty. I say this to remind people to have grace for others and their character defects because most alcoholics live in a glass house. Many people have shown me grace throughout my recovery, and even my active addiction. As a result this liar has grown into someone who can be trusted
