We have Christmas music playing in our house, and this stupid song called Jingle Bell Drunk by RaeLynn comes on. Like, nah girl. Christmas is way better when you can remember it. Going through this journey is opening my eyes to how much alcohol is woven into every aspect of our culture. Yikes.

It is disgusting how desensitized we are to the struggles of addiction. It is a joke in Hollywood and it is sad.

Are any of you old enough to remember the comedian Foster Brooks ? I’m pretty sure that that was his name, but he was already old when I was a kid, so this is going back quite some time.
His whole bloody act was based on being a “funny” drunk !!
