Good for you! Im getting the hankering for a new tatt too. Just never seems to be a time when l can spare the money at the moment. What are you getting?

I have 11 already but I’m itching for a new one. My first 3 were done before I turned 17. Ones been covered up. I now try to get ones with meaning . My latest idea which I’ve done a rough design and getting tattooist to draw up for me is a silver ornate key which will go on my inner forearm, lock end facing toward my hand. The top end of the key will have the green mental health awareness ribbon tied through it. At the lock end I will have 3 tiny birds flying off . Underneath the key running sideways I am not sure yet on which word, i’m thinking - escape, freedom or released. Need ideas. It’s kind of meant to be motivational, like the key/ your life is in your hands. Does that make sense anyone?Cant quite get the right word either

I don’t do AA but still think lot of the words used there are good. Acceptance might very well end up being the one. I’m gonna try and get as many word ideas as possible. My brain just isn’t working.

I am so damn impatient, once I get an idea in my head I get obsessed with it. I want a new tattoo now. I can’t wait, i’m so excited. I swear to god I will drive myself mad with this OCD.

Thinking about a sober tattoo when I’m 1 year sober. I like lines. Maybe a thin line around my wrist for every year I’m sober? But having a big tattoo allready on my right arm, so I don’t know yet. Maybe it’s too much 
But I’ve time to think it over. 18 september is my sober date.
