I am in court all day on Thursday’s, so I get to telecommute on Friday’s. Friday is the day that I choose to drink. Court drains the life out of me. I drink to numb every thought and feeling.
I’m here because I don’t want to drink today. A part of me is looking for an excuse to leave the house. So I’m here instead, in hopes of getting focus and a grip on myself.

Me too! Thankfully there is a nasty storm going on outside, so not leaving the house is top of my list. I’m keeping this page up so I can chat throughout the day. There is no alcohol in the house so that is a huge bonus. I have some work to do and a few things around the house. I think that can carry me until my husband gets home from work.
