I went for a stroll in the park with my friend straight after work. I have never used to do anything or go anywhere straight from work before I got sober … except go straight for my daily bottle of vodka, rush straight home and drink it all! I’m proud of myself! 113 days sober!

Went out by my bike this evening, first time after years that I used my racing bike. My bike and me, we are good friends, because in my younger ages I joined cycling races and had made round about 20 000 km per year in the past. So I went on it and it felt so comfortable and familiar, “we” were flying over the streets (tailwind…!) , sun was shining, silence, only the constant noise of my wheels…just joy.

Today, my something good was a bath. Seems small, but life after having my little one has been hectic. Work all day, then it’s tidy after supper, get kiddo to bed, pack hubby’s lunch, get coffee ready for morning. Tonight I had a bath with Epsom salts. I don’t get time for baths often but tonight after I put little man to bed, I’ve hopped in the bath 
I don’t make me-time often so it’s a luxury

I loveeee baths. I currently live in an apartment with only a shower. It’s nice but I miss being able to take baths.

I’ve been redoing my floors at my house by myself…as much as it’s back breaking pain from getting up and down…I feel so accomplishment as I do it every night after work and get to come home the next day to see what i did the night before…when i drank i didnt do anything around the house without a fight…

My boyfriend told me how proud he is of me today. He is not good at conveying praise but today he went out of his way to tell me how proud he is of me and it meant a lot.
