Tell me something good that happened to you today or recently, even if it is seemingly small. What brightened your day? What made you smile?
My 3.5 year old learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. I was and am sober to witness and enjoy it!
So sweet.
Aww I love those precious little moments
I got offered a new job in a field that I have a few years experience. Getting me out of a toxic work environment that management wont fix and into a realm that I have knowledge and education to share with my clients! I’m super pumped!! Oh, and it’s a pay raise, benefits and steady hours so I’m staying humble and grateful for this new opportunity =)
I got to personalize my new computer today. I also made brownies with chocolate peanut butter frosting and they were so good. I definitely got a sugar rush from them, because I broke out with sugar sweats.
Shit! I had a brain fart and forgot my son completed his online schooling for 12th grade. He is now a 2020 high school graduate.
Congratulations!!
All great things. Who doesn’t like chocolate… and congratulations to your son!
When this little guy comes out of the bedroom (where the AC is), comes to my desk, leans up against my leg for a quick ear scratch and a cuddle, then yawns and goes back to his napping under the blankets. Gives me the warm fuzzies every time.
My oldest son graduated and my youngest became 8 years of age. Made me feel proud.
And I managed to prepare a birthday part and graduation party for tomorrow…alone…and…sober…
So pretty exchasted at the moment.
the dog woke me up an hour early and I was not very happy so in the end I got up and walked to work early just as I got there it started to rain. if the dog didn’t wake me up I would have got soaked. Every cloud and all that
I took a chance and met a friend from High School for lunch. It was a very enjoyable experience and I’m glad I went. Reaching out to others has been on my list of ‘Daily Goals’ for at least a month now and it took that long to actually do it. I’m glad I did as I will be better able to go out of my comfort zone in the future! Thank you God!
Surfing and coffee
very clever, do you spill much?
Awwwww fur babies are the best. They seem to know when you need a lil extra lovin’
I am so not the planning type and I know how stressful that can be. Sounds like you’re doing awesome as a dad!
