Im here to say thank you again for this app. I honestly couldnt have made it this far without all of your posts, the calendar and the encouraging words each morning.
These last two weeks have been very challenging. I attended my first wedding sober and actually enjoyed myself way more than if i had been drinking, an anxiety filled week (where i actually drove into the lc parking lot and then drove right back out) Now my dad is in the hospital with a massive brain bleed (not sure if he will make it through the night)
And through all of this i feel so grateful for my sobriety.
So thank you all again

Wow, you have been through a lot in those 25 days, massive well done on staying sober. You are absolutely right that is the best way of handling it.
I am so sorry about your Dad. I really hope he starts to recover. I was in your position 9 years ago and my Dad pulled through and is still going strong today. I drank through it and that wasn’t helpful. Take really good care of yourself, protect your sobriety through this

Thank you! Update on my dad, he had a great night!! Lots of tests and are observing him to see what is the best course of action next

I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. I do hope that he is getting all the love and care that he can right now and will recover without any complications.
