Kamp Seedorf is an Amsterdam based graffiti collective. Their name refers both to one of the best Dutch football players of the last 30 years, Clarence Seedorf, and a former Dutch army base in Germany, where many of the conscripts of the 70’s and 80’s had to spend some months doing useless stuff (like shooting practice shouting bang bang because there was no ammo). They do temporary pieces too these days, using paper like this one close to where I live. I like. Maybe aga too @acromouse

This is gorgeous. I just can’t get enough of urban art, especially murals, graffiti, wall decorations, tags, all that stuff.
If it was for me to decide, all walls facing the public would be considered communal art space
Thanks for sharing. One more reason to visit Amsterdam again soon :hugs:

“The Cat Symphony, made by the Austrian painter Moritz von “Schwind in 1868, is the humorous depiction of a melody for violins in which instead of notes, numerous cats move across the paper. Now housed at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe in Germany.””

Yesterday I also visited (contemporary art) Stedelijk Museum, on a whim, and saw the exhibition Unravel: The Power and Politics of Textiles in Art. No idea it was there and no idea what to expect. Never seen anything like it. Love it loads.

Went to Centre Pompidou in Paris with my mother, to see the surrealists exhibition.
The reproduction of this painting was on my wall when I was a student, I was so happy to see it in real life!
