Eric, how long are you in Italy?
You keep this up and they’ll run out of coffee and they’ll blame America and that’s how we wind up in wars buddy.
Your posts have me itching for cappucino. I only get them if I’m out and about. One of my uncles in Ireland started me on them years ago when I notice he’d always get one after a meal.
Pretty infrequent that I go for hot drinks in the desert in general, but on the odd rainy/overcast day, there’s a legit Italian place less than a mile from me that makes phenomenal cappucino.
I’ll have to remember to post next time I go.
This morning (5am, Sunday, here in Arizona) it’s just my usual, every day, cold brew black coffee. Bustelo, specifically. 2 cups drank, leaving the 3rd for post-dog walks.
On my way home now. Currently in London. To Dallas. To Phoenix. Don’t get in to about midnight.
Their coffee just has this rich thick texture to it that makes it amazing.
I bought a Moka. I hope to learn how to use it before the novelty wears off ![]()
I was just getting confident with the Italian coffee jargon translation and now it’s over
Fantastic trip!!
Enjoy that cold brew. Going to have to start walking those dogs early now.
I use one every day for my morning coffee. Enjoy it.
That’s the only real way to make coffee at home, I’m going to die on this hill. Welcome to the bialetti familia! ![]()
@diamonster this looks like a real adventure time! Fantastic!
Buongiorno From Scottsdale
but good to be home ![]()
Wifey helped me fire up the Breville for a Doopio
Not bad.
Look at the cute
Adding to my collection
I’m going to have to work on my brewing skills for this one. Might have to break up with my Chemex
@JazzyS

Might start going quality of quantity. No way I could drink that big 12/14 oz cup.
Already checking it out.
How you doin?
Going for coffee at moms?
Lol…yeah…you might be jumping off of walls soon.
I’ve had coffee with Mom and just coming back from dentist…just in time for a late morning coffee with Mom ![]()
Waiting for the vet to open. Trying to refrain from buying some good coffee on line. It’s not like I don’t have coffee in da house.
Enjoy mom time.
And the coffee.
Need to figure out the grind. And amount of coffee.
@Mischa84
@diamonster
@Zse
Pretty fucking strong.
I got the 2-4 cup.
I be think I might need a little less coffee and less finer grind. I been reading and watching YouTube videos.
@JazzyS
I use my 6 Moka maker for 3 big cups and add hot water and milk. Americano, si?
Ever since your initial post with the Moka, I’ve been oggling them online. Pretty sure there’s one in my near future.
I just like saying moka.
Mokamokamokamoka.
It does look strong…have fun with it…I’m sure you’ll get the perfect cup in no time ![]()

Si
But I do mine black.
You most be wired for hours on that.
@TMAC
My Italian guide said the Bialetti was the best brand name to get. It’s kind of cool doing something different.
When he said do I want a Moka I thought he meant Mocha
not a fan. Then he explained it to me. I’ve always seen them around, especially in Europe but never bothered to check them out.
My first one was pretty strong. I couldn’t finish it. @JazzyS
The directions say to make 3 pots and dump it out before actually drinking one. So I good to go!!
And I don’t think I need any more coffee today.
