Approaching the sylph half-orc, Gnamien extends a hand. “Well fought, stranger. You seem not unfamiliar with battle.”

“Well met, all. Shall we take a long beat round back to the square and see how things have settled? Anyone know of the law in this town?”

(ha not slylph, just half orc)

“In detail, no. But I know the locals to be generally friendly.”

“No detail indeed. Where are they?”

Bastargre shuffles. “Seems like the right thing to do. I did hear shouting elsewhere in town before we ran up this way.”

It was great battling with all of you. I second going back to the square and getting dinner, ale, and a place to rest. I am also wondering why the goblins were attacking in the square and outside of town?

“The locals I have gotten to know, as I visit from time to time. My father contributed some craft to the original temple, the one from before it burnt down. I’m as curious as you as to where the people are now though.”

Gnamien surveys the surroundings, looking for the townsfolk.

Bastargre snaps his head back. He’d thought the man would surely have been dead. He checks in with the man to see what he has to say.

“I am visiting from Magnamar to make renovations on my mansion. I’m staying at the Rusty Dragon Inn down to the south. Please allow me to put you up for the week there so we can speak more.”

“My name is Gnamien. Aldern, is there a way I may be of further service? I have been very pleased with your towns hospitality and would be grateful to be of service if I could”

“We didn’t hold much hope for you, Mister Foxglove. I’m glad to see you’re alright.” Tearing a strip from his tunic and dousing it with a flask hidden near his waist the dwarf reaches to staunch the bleeding.

“Let’s get you to the Inn quickly. We’re not certain if the invasion is over.”
