I just realized I never responded!! This darn quarantine has my mind all sorts of loopy! I’d love to, but I lost all of my DnD stuff back in October and haven’t been able to replace any of it! Maybe once I do, I can join online!

We cut the D&D thread short after a few levels, it was getting to be more than some of us were prepared to keep up with.

I am thinking about running another roleplay now that that’s done, however, but I’m not sure yet what that might look like or what I have time for. Instead of a DnD/Pathfinder type world, it would be me narrating one of my own fictional worlds (sci fi or fantasy) and have a bit of a different structure. Right now I’m thinking a one scene per week pace.

Something to think about, anyways.

Hey everyone. So, I’ve decided to stick around. But, at a much more subdued rate. A lot less posting. Likely none at home at all. Maybe once or twice a day when I have breaks at work. Just to check in on things. All of this just depends on availability. I really did want to “anonymize” myself online. Was just thinking about what could potentially happen if I had some sort of malpractice lawsuit. Suddenly the prosecution has all this ammo online to use against me, just to defame me against a jury.

Not that any of this is likely at all. But, I had a boss that had a sexual harassment lawsuit against him, and this was exactly what the other side did. They held every post online against him. I’ve been pretty unconcerned about my online self. Not to mention posting pictures of myself and my family on a forum with drug addicts, alcoholics, and sex abusers. There are lots of you that I genuinely call friends, but countless others that I have no idea who they are, or what their intentions are. Foolish wouldn’t begin to describe how I have acted on this forum.

All that said, I feel like I’ve done a decent job removing traces of myself from the forum. I will try to be mildly active here. I’d even be open to keeping the campaign running, if just at a much slower pace.

What are your guys’ thoughts? (on any of that, not just the thread.)

Sounds wise DungeonMaster. You know we’re here with you to support in whatever way is best. Take care pal - and thanks for taking the time to reach out about this :innocent:

Grandor hates sadness, so he made it his mission to chear up anyone who is upset, despite his awful jokes.

@Cricket89 and @anon89207786 I’m going to add you guys to the PM. The private message thread is a direct continuation of this thread here story-wise. There’s about 2500 posts in it already. You’re in no way required to read through all of them, unless you’d like to. It’s a pretty entertaining story. Otherwise, just skip straight to the end.

Currently in the campaign we just finished a chapter and are in between starting another. @ifs @Mtrav0040 and @GVLNative have been the main players through the campaign thus far, but the 4 of us have gotten pretty busy with life, so it’s slowed down. We will modify how we play with less rolls and more role-play, a little at a time. I typically only check in once per day, so I’ll always respond to things, just gradually.

So, I’ll add you to the thread and put a little nudge post at the end.
