The life of me (Part 1)

Well shit, Jenn, that is a bummer. The holidays always really f up my schedule and it’s hard to keep track where they fall. Hopefully Christmas Day will go smoothly for you, and the extra pay certainly is nice. I certainly appreciate you being in healthcare working those holiday hours. Definitely with the extra funds you deserve to treat yourself (maybe to another bada$$ workout shirt that we all can appreciate).

Thanks Dan  that was nice to wake up to

@LeeHawk I rewarded myself yesterday with some on sale leggings :joy: they will make their way to the leg thread once they arrive. They should be here right on time for Christmas.

Those are rough hours. But good pay!! My mom has been in a nursing home for 4 years. Stroke victim. Although you don’t have direct patient contact you are still so important to the hospital(s). I guess I was confused because I thought you worked remotely.

I do work remotely. I type the prescriptions  and decode the doctors hand writing :joy: I use to be in the pharmacy and fill the medications but I’m a data entry technician at the moment

Must be a LOT of prescriptions to keep you busy . Which it sounds like you are, no doubt. Then again, the older you get the more scripts you get. So I’ve heard.

Checking in after a long day. I worked almost 12 hours, worked on a new puzzle for a short bit and ate lol- basically I just worked and my brain is so drained. Our electronic script system went down for 30 minutes (this is what nightmares are made of!) and the backlog of scripts was not fun.

@Mbwoman The department I work in processes thousands of prescriptions a day!!

Holy Smoke. Huge chain of nursing homes?

My department has 3 pharmacy hubs with a 4th opening possibly next year. We have about 120-130 homes (not real sure off the top of my head). And we are always acquiring more

Checking in. Not a terrible day at work but also not great. This coming week I plan on trying to touch base with corporate about my application but with the holidays I’m wondering if I’ll be able to get in touch/get an interview till after the 1st of the year. I know us lower totem pole people work every day but I’m pretty sure the higher ups get/take time off around now.
Bonus- this picture came up on my FB memories from 4 years ago. I was getting ready for the work Christmas party

Jenn - mine, too!!! I watch it multiple times a season. Usually. This year I’m a semi-Scrooge so haven’t. We are at a week until the big day, so gotta queue it up.:laughing:

Checking in. Very tired mentally. I don’t really have anything to say tonight. I worked and worked on my puzzle.

Here’s the last one I did. I mailed it to my sister to give to my dad for Christmas. I don’t remember if I posted a picture
