I’m so sorry you didn’t have the session. Bed time sounds perfect. Some good rest and long sleep will do wonders and tomorrow the world will look much better (my mom always said that to me and my siblings when something was worrying us) I love you!

Thank you @Shell for the advice on pain meds. I’ll have to try it. I suffer from severe back pain myself due to major back surgery which lead to my addiction of pain killers. I’m only 40 days clean and struggling every day to find something to ease my pain whIle determined to stay clean.

I’m still doing intensive out patient program and just started attending AA meetings last week on the days i don’t have IOP. Going to different meetings to see where I fit in. Then I’ll get the courage to get a sponsor.

Hi Lisa, I hope it helps you, just be mindful that ibruprofen taken regularly can lead to stomach issues so if you want to use it regularly talk to your Dr about getting some stomach protection, also there are some question marks over long term effects when taken regularly in people over 40 ( don’t know how old you are obviously) hopefully it will help ease your pain but just some things to bare in mind

Thanks for all that info @Shell. My Dr had mentioned that combo in the past but I ignored him since my brain craved the narcotics. Reading your post refreshed my memory. It’s amazing how clear things are now that I’m sober.
