Thank you for this thread. Day one here for me. I have collected gemstones, minerals, and crystals as keepsakes for years, not using them formally, just on occassion as needed. Amethyst and rose quartz are my crystals favorites currently.
This fall I bought several books about the healing properties of crystals and am excited to learn more about this topic. I also bought extra books and gifted them to my neices and sister with a few starter crystals 
they really enjoyed them!

Hi Claudia, love your collection, especially the lamp. Is it salt or amethyst? I have 3 or 4 of the Himalayan ones you know the orange ones. They give a lovely glow but yours looks brilliant.

I buy those more expensive stones second hand.
