I started thinking today about what actually started my want for sexual satisfaction which led to a masturbation addiction. Initially, I decided it must have been one of those movies which were not age appropriate but I viewed anyway. But as I continued reflecting I realized that my older cousin making me engage in sexual acts with her was most likely the root cause. I remembered that this happened way before anything else and at a very young age. I don’t recall exactly how old I was but I think I was between 5-7 years old. In truth I’ve gotten past it and forgiven her for it but it still affects me till this day. I keep thinking that maybe if it didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be struggling with masturbation today. In the end I am responsible for my actions which is why I’m taking responsibility to break my addiction so help me God.
