Reminds me of…
Lol…nope…Ms. Monkey and smell a Christmas sale a 100 miles away
This year for my birthday I asked for Christmas to stay up past my bday on Jan 31. We’ve only done that once before (and it was just out of laziness) but this year it means something!

Temple of the dog!
I actually forgot they were both in that band.
I’d just listened to Hunger Strike earlier today
And I heard Say Hello 2 Heaven!
Great song. Miss Chris Cornell alot soundgarden and audioslave were immense. Whole thing with him and Chester Bennington from Linkin Park was awful. But we have their amazing music to remember them by.
Shockingly tragic.
The cover he did of gun’s and roses patience that was released posthumously is bad ass
Up with absolutely no shame
I was clean 10 years before I jumped into the deep end of addiction and was drowning in it for another 5 years…
Now only 90ish days clean and i feel better about sobriety than i did in any of those 10 years. I guess, for me the difference was, accepting I had a problem, and deciding I had enough.
Tough call. Cornell did “You Know My Name”, theme from Casino Royale. Best Bond opening ever (not the best movie though).
Vedder did the soundtrack to “Into The Wild” which was awesome.
In my defense, I’m buying for 7…
And groceries are high af these days
This week i spent about $350. But it’s only Wednesday, and I’ll likely have to go back to grab a forgotten ingredient
Depends what I’m making. Cast iron for anything fried. Stainless steel for pasta/sauce. Nonstick (Teflon) for cheesy/ otherwise hard to clean up things.
I’ve had my cast iron for years, it’s my go to for everything from eggs to chicken. My enameled cast iron dutch oven for sauce, soups and stews. For xmas i got a 12 inch stainless frying pan, I don’t know how to use it, my daughter says there’s a learning curve, I’m kind of scared to use it!
Ive never heard of this… For some reason I’m thinking of a stock pot type of thing…that you’re supposed to fry things in?
It looks like this:
