I have read in many places that about 1 in 20 people achieve financial independence and I have also read in many places that about 1 in 20 people who ever attempt sobriety have longterm success with it. That 5% success rate for both things gor me wondering what each have in common…
They both require a lot of effort and a can-do type attitude.
They both require daily work often with the support of others to gain and maintain.
They both involve doing things that others may not understand.
I feel sobriety is equivalent to personal wealth in this way…
