Hi all, hope everybody is well! I’ve just hit 2 months and 10 days sober and I was just wondering has anybody else had a feeling of being almost reborn?
I went to the beach to my kids the other day and it was like I’d never been before! I didn’t realise that I was almost viewing the world through stained glass whilst drinking. I could feel the sun, the wind on my face, smell the sea. Its been so long since I’ve felt so calm. No going back now!

Yes mate. Very much so. Happened about the same time as well. I started to really appreciate nature and my surroundings and just life in general.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Ans it’s the best thing can happen to you because it opens your eyes. Many ppl are so struggling to stop drinking bcs they don’t ever experience this… But once you become know the freedom and beauty of sobriety it’s like a half win. You just need to be careful when coming back to reality.
Please, enjoy this time a lot! I had it for 6 months. It calls a “pink cloud”
