But that’s the thing about quality footwear. Our feet aren’t gonna outgrow them, so no harm in keeping them around in case you do need them
Absolutely true!
A lovely end grain chopping board that needed sanding back and reoiling, which has come up beautifully. It cost £5 for the board.
Nice! I love wooden utensils en I like it even more when it shows it has been used. At my elderly home we had a chopping board like that and when you looked at it sideways you saw a curve in it where the wood was gone. I loved it.
Wood with a story of years.
Yours is ready now to collect yours!
My latest find is this little deer hunting trophy.
It’s from France according to the text on it and it says 1929.
I’m a vegetarian and would never kill an animal if I do not have to. Even not an insect.
So I could not leave the remains of this animal behind in that triftshop
I took these home from my Mom’s house. Ceramic terrier dog book ends. The only hit I can find is in all Italian. Made in Italy in the 1930s maybe?
Why would you not buy that?
It’s spectacular!
I was going to say because it’s not my style and doesn’t fit the look of my home.
But now that I think of it, it would be a good piece for the greenhouse.
When I first saw it, I said “Howdy, pardner”
And you’d say that every time you walked into your greenhouse.
You know you want it!
Go back, it’s hilarious! (In a good way )
Found this dynamic duo at Value village during an outing just after receiving my 30 day sobriety coin and they’ve been kicking it with me everywhere and everyday since.
Quick, go back, before someone like me comes along and takes it home!
It fits the category: things l never knew I needed!
As a bobblehead collector, I keep it strictly to baseball mostly - but that’s one I’d scoop up in a heartbeat. Grapes and Ron are icons.
@AyBee @HolySquid @SoberWalker
Well I went back to get it, and it wound up falling into a category I encounter all the time at antique malls:
“It’s cool, but it’s not X dollars cool”
They wanted $40 for it. LOL. I’m good.
This object was just waiting for you.
Keep it on watch… It’ll come down.
Or just offer them $20 best and final offer.
I think I think l have the Christmas version of that! Lol
