Traveling and enjoying the experience-

I’m traveling with my family, and it’s already been such a pleasure to be able to enjoy this with them. Whereas I used to use travel as an excuse to just escape (time doesn’t exist in airports!!) - I’ve been relaxing and feeling great, and am looking forward to having a vacation where I feel excellent!!

That is Awesome! I Kinda get the same feelings as well … But having to fly alot and the new anxiety of flying. It may have always been with me but by drinking some in the past beforehand getting on planes its learning how to deal with it sober now. Ever since ive gotten sober its been almost a year milestone for me but i Travel alot of the U.S for work so that being said its just awesome really trying and exploring different states sober and finding fun things to do on weekends while co workers may go to a bar sun up to sun down …

Absolutely! Travelling and being on vacation used to be a reason to drink. But actually it just made me tired, forgetful, whereas sober I can be truly present.

100%!!! Getting to enjoy a city while others are nursing a hangover (and I’m feeling great!) is a relatively new experience and completely amazing.
