I’m potentially starting a new job- waiting on background check etc and want to travel so bad, go on one of the solo group adventure. I am incredibly new to sobriety so am afraid of relapsing bc spending a lot of time with 6-9 strangers is a little anxiety provoking for me but no one else wants to go kayaking/canyoning, hike in hot weather, understandable. Has anyone joined a solo adventure group? How was it? A lot of drinking (very little). I’m making sure to avoid the ones with visits to wineries and distilleries.

i’m hoping the early activities might help lessen the urge to drink..hmm..i should find out when activities start

Cool. Reminds me when we were delayed at the Durango airport one day. And we were waiting for the mechanic that was working at the Grand Junction airport to come fix our plane :scream: Too funny. Not at the time mind you. You’d think they’d have more than one mechanic in southwest CO.
Happy travels.

The sea and the sky are slowly differentiating as the sun rises on a rainy Maine morning.

What beach you at? You getting in?

Old Orchard Beach. And I’m only going in if someone pushes me.

I was just going to write that I’ve never been to Old Orchard Beach. I have been to Ogunquit and here you are. It’s been about 55-60 years now. Shit I’m old. I always spent my summers up on China Lake as a kid/teen.

You headed south? Next stop Portland? Kittery?
