Trazadone withdrawal

As anyone else come off Trazadone

I’ve come off of it many many times. Only thing they will give you in rehab for sleep. During the military I was in ambien almost every night, had to get my crew rest. Trazadone had the worst side effects for me. And the first day or two I was coming off of it I felt lethargic. But normally people bounce back rather quickly off of trazadone. How long have you been off of it now. Will let you know I am NOT a doctor. Hahaha. Was an EMT for years.

I have not but I’m a mental health RN, and I have come of other antidepressants myself (Zoloft and Amitriptyline). Best to do it under medical supervision. If that’s not possible look for a good reduction schedule. Maybe I can help you with that although I’m not a doctor and I’d advise you to find one to help you. Normally takes about 4 weeks. The dose should be reduced once a week.

Only three days

Tapering down is strongly recommended instead of just quitting.

Would surely listen to @Mno! Wasn’t even aware it was used as an anti depressant. But I am behind MNO in everything that was put down.

Only reason I’m withdrawing is cause I’ve ran out and need a medical review and pharmacy closed today and was at work the last 2 days

I’m not going to ask any personal questions on here but as I said I am not a doctor, just an EMT. My job is to keep people stable to the hospital, basic health knowledge. @Mno works in that field around that medicine. I would definitely listen to what they say. But was on trintellix for a long time and was tapered of slowly and had no issues. Is there not a walk in clinic where you could get your review done?

OK. Well you will probably know the effects withdrawal can have. Monitor them well and don’t hesitate to contact some medical emergency service if they get bad. Take care and get your medical review asap.
