I learned , that in most cases , we aren’t victims of others, but rather we are victims of our expectations, choices, and dishonesty.
For a long time I wanted to be the writer, director and main star, I had a role I wanted everyone to play , and when they didn’t play those roles I would get hurt , upset and then drink. Thats a basic human defect and it’s even worse In the alcoholic.
I don’t try to control everything anymore and I let God take control . All I can do is approach every situation with optimism, honesty and good intentions and what ever the results …I accept them , enjoy them ( if good) or learn from them( if bad ) and just keep on pushing forward.
