Trying to break my record of 12 days

:+1:t5: Great suggestion

The demons will use all the people around you, to drag you down and destroy your new Faith and your will to overcome your addictions. Be focus for a while, then when you will be strong enough to be around him without wanting to snore or drink, then go and help him if he is opened to listen. All the best, pal :pray:t5:

I would not go.

I had a friend once, like a brother. We were best buds. He was a wreck though. He’d always call me when he was low, I’d come running and be the shoulder to cry on. However, he always brought me down to his level and drugs and alcohol lead to some pretty shitty behavior.

Long story short, I had to cut him out of my life so that I could get and stay sober. His lifestyle and sobriety just isn’t compatible. It hurt me, it hurt him, but it was necessary. I cut everyone out that wasn’t compatible with sobriety. Now, with almost 3 years of sobriety, I have no regrets. None.

You do have a choice, I know it may not feel like it, but you do. Just remember, the only person you owe anything to, is yourself.

Way to go you!! That’s about all I have usually made it to in the past as well, about 10 to 12 days. I’m a few hours from 5 right now. We’ll see how it goes…

Congrats if you didnt go! I cant go hang with old friends doing the same things.

I would be back at it. Thats what always gets me and I have just recently cut ties with certain friends to prevent the relapses.
