Visible progess at 52 days :D

I went to the doctor today because of some throat irritation nothing major luckily.

My doctor knows all about my addiction and at the end he asked wether I was still using drugs. I said no, Im sober 52 days in total today, and he said thats why he was asking because I looked much better. And that he is happy for me Im finaly getting clean

This is coming from a doctor who not only has to be honest with me but whom I deeply respect as his work and interpersonal behavior just radiates intelligence and compassion.

No need to say Im feeling great. I know what he means, I have a totally new face now: more fat (I was too skinny before) no pimples, more glow, etc. And probably most importantly the spark in my eyes is back :slight_smile:

Make sure to take the time to give thanks to the people places and things (higher powers, etc.) that have gotten you this far and revel in your success.

This is a lovely share! Well done, keep it going.
We have around the same sober times and I am so looking forward to going back to the doctors and saying I dont drink anymore.

52 days is absolutely amazing! Keep going — it really keeps getting better. You can be so proud of yourself!

I also notice for myself how, little by little, I’m starting to fill out the shell of the person I used to be — or maybe even becoming someone new.
