Congratulations. How exciting to be concentrating on maintaining. Unfortunately I seem to have the maintaining down pretty well but need to keep losing. ![]()

I recognize the uncomfortable feeling when you stop dieting. Hope your post here helps you a bit with it.
33lb down since 16th April 2025 and aiming for another 8 lb in the next 3 weeks .. Havent been to the gym once .. just mainly watching what I eat and of course NO ALCOHOL ! Amazing what you can achieve when you don’t have the little alcohol demon poisoning your body and mind !
Well, I’m down 11lbs this morning (4 days back on my diet) and was planing to do weekly Monday weigh in’s here but I guess today was my last day with a scale for a while. Sooo who knows, maybe ill get a new one in a few weeks/months and find out that I’ve lost a lot of weight ![]()

I’ll check in periodically if I can find a scale at a friends or something lol.
Week 1: 1,3 kg down - 1,3 kg down in total
Week 2: 0,5 kg down - 1,8 kg down in total
Week 3: NA
I won’t step on the scale as a new cycle could start anytime and I feel bloated as always during this period. I don’t want to get frustrated. As it comes together naturally, I had a lot of appetite! And I ate more. So what. Balance. New week ahead.
I quit the coffee in the early morning and changed to black tea which keeps my cortisol lower.
Got some new technique skills in swimming as there was a trainer who analysed my style and a nice german swimmers channel I just found (triswim). My goal is to bring my timing from 2.00 per 100 to 1.45. This might take a while. I changed my training to focus more on my strech and catch. And hit parts. Swimming long distance of 3000 and more is never a problem for me, but I want to get faster ![]()
Additionally I made it to some short yoga sequences and want to add a easy to handle mobility and strength routine.
Hi everyone! Please allow me to be part of this topic. I want to lose weight. I’ve tried many times before. Every time ended in failure. I’ve been big my whole life. This time, I’ll do everything I can.
I really hope I can do it this time. Wishing the best of luck to everyone!
194.2 lbs
Happy with that one.
I’ve reached my goal today, exactly 200lbs.
Next goal is 190.
I thought I was doing good, I was, but thought I was being really good. My weekly daily average is 200 calories higher than expected. If I can be at 1900 daily average this week, then I’ll be happy.
I finally broke through the 150lb plateau and then some. For context, I’m 5’2. I got down to 145-146 without help, and then I was extremely sick with GI stuff for 3-4 weeks, so that definitely sucked but I’ll take the win as I’m now 142 and my short term goal is 140.
Better than any of that is that my clothes are starting to fit again! This was a big motivation for me because I have a huge closet full of clothes that I couldn’t fit into anymore and it seems wasteful to buy more. So basically I get to go on a shopping spree in my closet!!
198.5lbs this morning.
3rd week into my 6 week program, trying to get as close to 190 as I can by then. Let’s go!
At the moment I can’t post status as i missed the scale 2 weekends cuz I am super afraid to step on it. I am eating too much. And I feel my body is keeping everythingI feel so very lost!
Had my weight appointment at the gym.
Lost enough fat so now I have to eat more to let the muscles grow.
It feels weird though to first get slim and now increase my calory intake.
But I won’t check in here again. Feels weird now my focus isn’t loosing weight anymore.
In total I’ve lost 5 kilo of fat and gained 4 kilo in muscles.

Stepped on the scale today. 198.6lbs which is awesome. I’ve been stagnant at 205 for the past few years. Going to stick with what I’m doing, and then if I plateau, change it up.
How are you doing today?
Lost.
I know that feeling.
I am crying the whole morning already because of it.
It’s okay to cry. You doing any better now? Have you tried taking a shower? Doing what I love to call a reset, basically starting your day over. Shower, nap if you need, change your clothes, paint your nails, self care.
