feeling positive this week after joining this thread as I feel more accountable! A chocolate protein shake set me up for the day, blitzed with blueberries, almonds, and chia seeds

Morning all! I didnā€™t manage to get much exercise last week, just wasnā€™t feeling it :woman_facepalming:t3: I lost 1 pound. Itā€™s still a loss but I feel I could of and can do better so Iā€™m back on it again this week! Now that the nights are starting to draw in Iā€™m fighting my default setting which is to hunker down and hibernateā€¦ we gotta keep moving!! Hope youā€™re all doing well with this project?! :pray:t2::two_hearts:

Oh man the last 4 years have beenā€¦
Well theyā€™re not joking when they say it gets worse every time. But by the grace of God Iā€™m not in a casket and not in federal prison and 36 days free.

April 2020-now. Some before and after comparisons :muscle: recently started working out. Dropped 20 lbs on the ā€œdrink less booze and more water dietā€ alone.(no booze actually)ā€¦ feeling super motivated lately! Photo_2020-10-11_03-36-11_PM|499x499

Today - finally - Iā€™m starting my journey towards the weight I had before quitting alcohol (more or less).
I didnā€™t opt for a ā€œdietā€, just cutting on calories and (the most difficult part) the unhealthy snacks.
I also bought an elliptical, which should be delivered today. I love going for walks, but, according to the forecast, the rain will continue for the next couple of weeks so I canā€™t depend on the weather to do a little activity.
I have 6.5 kg to shed (mostly buttocks, thighs ans lower abdomen) and I hope I can manage to do it in 8 weeks. I know itā€™s a difficult goal to achieve, but it would mean a world to me.
