So for the first time in a veryyyyy longggg time I am driving myself to work… like I couldn’t imagine I’d be driving myself to work again and it really feels so unexpected !

My license was revoked for life. After 3 years sober, I got my one and only chance to restore it. The weirdest part was taking the road test again! I damn near failed! I’ve held onto my privilege to drive for another 16 years since getting it back, and I intend to keep it.

That is such a great realization. I would say Perseverance existed. Other than being persistent in drinking it is hard for perseverance to exist unless sober. My opinion.
