They are beautiful
Thank you!
Well here i wasā¦saw the thread pop up and i was gonna brag about my 2013 subaru impreza with barely 90k miles on it lol.
Lovely rides @HoofHearted @Reddawg7768
90k miles for a 10 year old car is pretty impressive. Thats likeā¦ 18 miles a day!
I have a 2006 Subaru Impreza with 130K and a 2020 Subaru Impreza with 13K.
The 2006 is still my favorite to drive, sheās a manual transmission. The 2020 is my husbandās every day car and my road trip car. I love a Suby.
Wow, lots of car makes Iāve never heard of here. Iām from Ireland so there may be some makes youāre not familiar with. Our European members Iām sure will have heard of ours
So, as a precursor, myself and my husband donāt gravitate towards new cars, we prefer older boxier shape cars. We just much prefer older shapes
We did have 3 cars, but we recently sold my little town run-around car, it was a Renault Clio and it was impeccable inside. I miss her just to spin into town with. My husband has a Subaru Impreza WRX STI he doesnāt use day to day (just a collectorās item thing) and our kiddy bus (I call it that) is an 8 seater hybrid Toyota Estima. Iāve two kids that still need clunky car seats and two adult sons, so I need a three bencher. I am so not a fan of kiddy cars
I really, really miss my big boxy Landover Discovery. I love (older shape) Landrover anything, the newer shapes donāt look like hard working vehicles anymore, they look like they are designed for the school run
i know we should all be going in the direction of climate friendly cars, but with every fiber of my being I want an older Landrover Range Rover
These are all stock pics of their years etc, Iāve nothing in my phone.

2008 Prius. Sheās named Prissš¤£ i love my car. 135,000 miles! I got her used. My only dislike is changing headlight bulbs! I had to do this recently. I had to remove the whole bumper and remove the light fixtures to get the bulbs outā¦ but i did it myself witn a youtube vidao. My dad would be proud if he were still alive!
Pick one or suggest another. AWD for Canadian winters. Currently have a Bronco Sport and Iām not loving it. Hereās three Iāve been ogling. Likely not upgrading but curious of opinions
- Mustang Mach-E (electric)
- Lincoln Corsair
- Audi Q3

Right now a red Volvo 740 from 1996
The car inspection guy said he had one of his own, and that itās more or less impossible to kill.
The AC doesnāt work, and sometimes it doesnāt really want to start. But it was cheap, and it doesnāt need any fixinā.
We named her Red Danger.
2013 Peugeot 208 VTi.
Nice car, but electrics are really sketchy. Currently the radio doesnāt work and Iām fed up of replacing the fuses so we drive in silence funnily enough, Iāve gotten really used to it now. The smaller steering wheel is a beauty though, wouldnāt go back.
Right now a 2018 Kia forte. Decent but horrible in the snow
And a 2001 Harley Dyna super glide fxd. Even worse in the snow
No car but I usually ride a horse around. Does that count?
What do you value most?
Reliability, comfort/luxury, safety, design (looks)?
Pick two.
I like the Lincoln. It reminds me of the wifeās Buick encore. Just a bigger stronger version
Wait, pick only two?
Great advice, though. I wasnāt even thinking of these cars until hubby planted the idea in my head. Heās a Ford guy, and frequently trades in for a new work truck (F550). He got his sales guy to show me the Mach-E which was fun to drive. Weāve got solar panels so that was tempting but I decided Iām not ready. At his last service appointment, he was texting me about the Corsair. Which I thought was an āold lady carā until I saw a spiffier one the other day at my oil change (pic below). Audi came up as heād heard an add about 0.98% financing but turns out it is not on the Q3. But I looked at the dealership and was of course smitten.
Iād like something more comfy than my Bronco Sport as I do lots of rural commuting. I do like safety aspects too (protective mum) but I also drive gravel roads to get him to school. Winter driving/AWD essential. Fancy is nice since Iām getting old but not a priority
Essentially itās likely best to keep my current vehicle, even if I donāt love it, as I just paid it off!! But I am still dreaming of a new ride. Kinda miss my Mazda Cx5 and wish I didnāt trade.
2013 3 door Renault megane 1.5dci
Bit sluggish around town but it turns into absolute beast on the motorway
Toyota 4runner or Highlander. I drive a Toyota Tundra and I am biased and always recommend Toyota because I see them the least in my shop for breakdowns.
When in Americaā¦

VW Golf R Line. Best car Iāve had. it
