The 9/11 attacks in 2001. I can also say for sure that my addiction issues were well underway around that time too, I was 14. I am now 33 and 11 days sober

Good morning, I like this thread. @Ray_M_C_Laren your sober day is around the same time as I started drinking. September 86 I was just starting my last year at school.
This really brings it home to me and shames me. We move on though and one great thing is I have a boy of my own 22yrs and he dosnt drink or smoke and is on the right path with his career and university.

yea sept 86 i started again my two sons 25/27 this year dont drink or smoke their choice .
