The thing about guitar solos is often you have an idea in your head and you just run with it, almost all guitar solos are influenced by the music or another musicians ideas. And you put it together no writing it out, etc.
Most people I worked with do the Jimmy Page process, you do three takes and use the best one of the three.
In my experience it’s always the first one that’s the best, cause take two and three your playing the same thing and just tweaking it. Only to find out you already did the best one
