Gives me chills. So good. Back when you seriously had to be really really good to get a record deal or put a record out. You had to develop a following by word of mouth and tour, Record more music and repeat. No social media, no BS, powerful music. I’ve definitely been going back to the classics, like Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, CCR, Van Halen, the doors, the Rolling Stones, all the music I grew up listening to when I was very young before I got into grunge, punk, and rap. I like just about everything if it’s powerful and has something to say. But I definitely grew up on this kind of music.
No doubt miss those days I grew up on Wu-Tang but when I got to high school I would lend my hip hop albums to the skateboarding homies for their sublime, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin cd’s good times like I said miss those days. We need to go back! Ha! Peace Blue
I need today some uplifting spiritual music, so I’m listening Krishna Das. I love his kirtans (spiritual gatherings where everyone sings together God’s names).
I absolutely love this love anything Chris Stapleton
Ohhh, I LOVE this one! Especially that piano solo at the end, played by Jools Holland. Great tune.
Very Irish
I miss watching “Later… with Jools Holland”, that was always such a good way of being introduced to up and coming bands!
We didn’t get that show in the States, but ive seen plenty of YouTube clips. He had some awesome musical guests.
