What I'm Listening To Right Now \m/

Thanks so much man. Mac is definitely one of my favorite artist of all time and I’m really grateful his family Is there to help carry his legacy. Mac was a true artist and he really dedicated his time to his craft and studied the people before him. I was watching this interview and one of his friends was talking about how when he started making money he would have these crazy parties at his house but he would be in the garage by himself working on music and not partaking in everything. That right there goes to show his work ethic. That’s interesting to hear about circles and that makes sense. And also thanks for that website I’m going to check that out right now. I like all kinds of music but I’m definitely trying to get a solid rap collection. Mostly of my favorite artist that are lyrical

As far as section 80 I was talking to the local record store I go to And the manager said that album hasn’t been pressed in like 15 or 20 years or longer so it’s hard to find. And I guess when they did press that record they didn’t do that many

The intro reminds me of The Taxman by the Beatles and Start by the Jam. You are a, ahem, a little older than me, so I don’t know many of your suggestions on here, but always willing to give them a listen and maybe learn something

That’s awesome. I discovered them when I was a little kid the first album I listen to was called insomniac. I definitely drove my parents crazy with that one. I was seven years old. A lot of my favorite bands I discovered from VH1 pop-up video and MTV In the early 90s. Nirvana, Green Day, Soundgarden, sublime a lot of these bands had a huge impact on me.

I read that green days first album called kerplunk Sold 200,000 copies just by word of mouth. And obviously this is before Internet and social media and stuff like that. They’re definitely a solid band and have put out so many good albums over the years.
