Syd Barrett was the original singer and guitar player of Pink Floyd but he left after one album because of mental health issues and some other things. He created two solo albums after the piper at the gates of dawn with Floyd … David Gilmour helped produce this album called the madcap laughs. David Gilmore was the guitar player who replaced Syd in Pink Floyd
