It was by no accident. Dave played drums on that track (No One Knows) and I was doing a Dave Grohl themed posting. That would be pretty cool to see them in concert. I don’t do many concerts these days.
Yes just another example of being so excited about music that I don’t even read lol or think… After posting I was like wait a minute? I forgot how many projects Dave Grohl has been a part of. Anyway thanks for posting all this music that I forgot about, I also forgot about Silversun pick ups!
Dave has collaborated on SO many things. AND he’s the nicest dude ever! I think @BroccoliHighKicks is the only person that doesn’t like him…
I forgot about Lenny Kravitz also. That white and black album Might be called 5? remember? But that was the first CD I ever bought with my own money.
At least your first CD wasn’t embarrassing… Nowadays anyway. Mine was:
Dude I bought a Britney Spears CD I’m man enough to admit that
Just for the liner notes I hope…?
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania I was just trying to be optimistic
All jokes aside I think you have to listen to every kind of music. I have literally bought and listen to probably everything you can think of
I agree 100%. I even listen to things I can’t understand (languages I don’t speak). If the music is good, the music is good.
Love this song!!
Makes me think of driving at night, windows down and singing at the top of my lungs.
Yes!! Omg I love a lot of your music on this thread! Maybe I should post some more of mine on here instead of the other one
Well thank you! And you’re more than welcome!
I started this thread because switching between all the different genre threads was getting confusing and almost posted something sappy on a metal thread… The shame that would have come from that…
I like podcasts! What are they about?
Noble Blood touches on just about every monarch that ever existed and different stories that apply to them. She weeds through the facts and touches on the fiction. It’s very interesting and I often find myself Googling the topics myself. I just finished one about Richard III and The Princes in the Tower.
Behind the Bastards talks about key figures on topics that are portrayed to be a little better than they were. I listened to a 4 parter about Czar Nicholas which was both fascinating and amusing. But they discuss topics also, like Child Behaviour modification schools, Hitler had a drug problem, Police Unions, Canadas Residential schools, L Ron Hubbard, Jim Bakker, how lynching came to be etc.
Love this song so much
