I saw Hank III once at the Hellfest in France, one of the biggest metal festival in the world. Two hours, first hour was pure country music (SO FREAKING AWESOME), second half was his metal projects (it was ok). This kind of music live in France is very rare

Hell yeah! I saw him in 2010. His shows are bad ass. I wish I remembered more of it. Oh well. That’s cool that you got to experience it in France. That hillbilly shit is pretty standard where I live.
