I would not go. If your boyfriend loves you, he’ll understand and support you 100%

Glad to hear you didnt have to make that decision. It’s hard to decline an Invite, but it gets easier.
In the beginning I told people I was quiting for health reasons. As time went on I just flat out told everyone like it was. Hi my name is Kim and I’m an alcoholic. 
I do believe everyone knew I was a drunk. Just to polite to say it to me.
