What you think about Creating a Virtual AA Meeting Room?

What you think about creating a new meeting room in Google meet ?

That violates TS terms and rules ?

If okay, i will create a meeting room.

I will discuss more with the other mods, but there was a zoom TS meeting that happened until recently.
One point to remember, is that not all TS members are in AA. Some are in other recovery groups, some are in none.

Another thing is that I’d personally be uncomfortable with attending a google meet. I use google for all my personal/professional stuff and my real details are on it. A lot of people on here might be hesitant to give up the anonymity thing, especially when talking about addiction issues.

That’s a good point. For zoom you can change your name temporarily, but it seems that is not possible for google (you have to change the account name entirely, and then would have to keep changing it back and forth?).

I am with @Amy30 on this one, too much private info being shared using Google Meet. Also, virtual AA meetings have been in existence for years and are regularly discussed/shared here, no need to reinvent the wheel.
