…Right in view of the grocery store bagger
Exactly!
It took a moment to load so I was waiting to see what you were talking about and I have to admit that wasn’t what I was expecting. I definitely gave a little laugh out loud.
And this, children, is why you turn off all notifications
I’m sure I’ve done something like that. Or maybe I haven’t figured out how to start them again since the update. Because I get no notifications from this app at all. It’s strange because I always have gotten them before.
Lol to funny
this made me laugh a lot DOH!
My mate once sent me a video which makes really loud sex noises at the end. It played full blast while I was waiting in the doctors waiting room
I teach in a secondary school. I’m a bit of a gentle stickler for punctuality. I will often hold my iPhone up to show students the time if they are late. They don’t argue with Apple Time.
This one day, I was almost late to my lesson at 8:15am. My students were stood at the door of my classroom playfully waiting for me to be late. When I arrived, I held my phone up to show that I was in fact on time. Right at that moment, a notification for the I AM SOBER app popped up on my Home Screen.
An eagle eyed girl in my group exclaimed ‘I am sober! I should hope you are at 8:15am!’
They are 17 years old, so it led to an interesting conversation about sobriety, and about notifications on phones…
Brilliant, bet that led to an interesting conversation.
It’s something to be celebrated.
It is. I had been talking to them about sobriety before that, so they knew that I was interested in it. I hadn’t told them how far I’d fallen, but was saying that I’d been reading a lot about it and that I was thinking of giving it up.
It was never a conversation when I was their age. It wasn’t a decision that we made. Everyone just did it as soon as they were old enough - or earlier, if they could.
