You live in my most favorite place in all the world:heart:! My husband I honeymooned there, and have decided when we retire we will be settling in Scotland…around Dunfermline. That’s the hope and the plan anyway :grinning: You lived in the Highlands your whole life?

Oh I used to live near dunfermline but that is not the highlands… if you are gonna move to scotland absolutely move to the highlands, it’s a whole different world from the rest of the UK.

It surely is much different…beautiful open country…no comparison. I think we decided central Scotland because will be older ya know…I might not be able to navigate in my 60’s. Figured play it safe and be close to hospital in the event of emergencies…and I adore history so I wanted to be close to all the castles :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I am in the UK and we just cannot go anywhere, its fucking ridiculous the UK has absolutely no control, our PMs, the lot are failing this course try. Today is the highest death toll and highest cases ever since it started! We are completely doomed because of xmas and now new year, majority of the UK ain’t listening and so many people are stuck in the house following the rules

Then that absolutely makes sense! You can be close to all surrounding cities too so theres lots of choice at not a very far distance. The highlands is so big it takes ages to get around and everything is spaced out x

I’ve lived all around the world , many years in London and new york in my 20s, but I always believe I’m blessed to have been born and brought up in Sydney Australia. I moved to Melbourne a decade ago and its a brilliant city to live in… Brisbane is great also. Being so close to Byron bay and far north Queensland is magical ! … Your in Scotland??

That was exactly my thought. If I could live in a remote location I have to say I love Glencoe. It felt so magical when I was there.

I told a few people here…Scotland was the first place I traveled to and cried when I had to leave. I cannot wait to return! Simply stunning country and such beautiful people. :grinning:
